Around-the-World: Summer is designed to make ATW’s high-caliber faculty-guided travel experience available to a broad range of students. The travel portion of the program is offered during the summer to accommodate students whose busy schedules might regularly inhibit them from participating in a traditional semester abroad. Each rendition of the trip is designed around a course that satisfies one of the Q&I Exploration requirements, allowing it to work with most grad plans. Because students register for the program’s selected course in the Spring semester, additional tuition costs are rarely required. By employing creative travel approaches, Concordia is able to keep the program fee low and arm students with skills to plan their own future travels.
